Bollywood Icon Amitabh Bachchan Celebrates Diwali with Fans

On October 20, 2025, Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan took to social media to share Diwali greetings with his fans and followers. The 83-year-old actor posted two pictures, one showing him greeting the crowd outside his house and another featuring Diwali decorations with diyas (small oil lamps) and marigold flowers.

Bachchan, who is currently hosting the 17th season of the popular game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', has been active on social media, often using digital platforms to express his thoughts on festivities and traditions. In his post, the actor wished his fans a "Many many Diwali greetings."

Fans were quick to react to Bachchan's post, with one commenting, "Good wishes...to Honourable great Amit Sir Ji with all your family members and friends on the auspicious occasion of Happy Deepavali. May God bless you all the happiness." Another fan wrote, "Sir, Happy diwali...May Lord Rama's heavenly favour always be with you. Bachchan, known for his eloquent writing and oratory skills, is expected to portray the character of 'Jatayu' in director Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming epic-drama 'Ramayana'. The veteran actor was last seen in the Tamil film 'Vettaiyan', which premiered in October 2024.
