America250, the organization leading the commemoration of the United States' 250th anniversary, has unveiled the first three tracks from a new music collection titled America's Soundtrack. Emilio Estefan Jr. is the executive producer for this project.
The initial releases include Gloria Estefan's "America," Karen LeFrak's commissioned orchestral work "American Promise," and The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square's rendition of "Battle Hymn of the Republic." These songs are set to be available on March 5, 2026.
Emilio Estefan Jr. stated that America's Soundtrack aims to capture the country's musical heritage while looking forward. Rosie Rios, chair of America250, emphasized music's unifying power for the nation's 350 million citizens.
The collection promises a genre-spanning variety, reflecting pop, rock, and other styles. "American Promise" will have its world premiere performed by the Miami Symphony Orchestra on March 8, 2026.
Additional artists and tracks will be announced throughout 2026, leading up to America250's Fourth of July programming.
