One of the standout shows is "Parish," a new crime drama that features Giancarlo Esposito in the leading role. Esposito, known for his acclaimed performances as Gus Fring in "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul," now plays Gracián "Gray" Parish, a man with a criminal past who attempts to go straight. However, when his old friend, Colin Broussard, convinces him to take on one last job, Gray finds himself drawn back into the criminal underworld.
Fans of "The Walking Dead" will also be excited to see the return of Carol Peletier, played by Melissa McBride, in the show's second season on Netflix. Carol is on a quest to find her closest friend, Daryl, who has been sent to Europe, determined to bring him back home.
In addition to these two AMC-backed shows, Netflix is also featuring a new true crime docuseries, "Mob War: Philadelphia Vs. The Mafia," which revisits a real-life Sopranos-esque power struggle that took place in the early 1990s in Philadelphia.
