- Show features celebrities in "Rulers" and "Workers" roles
- Attracted major brand partnerships and high social engagement

In a remarkable achievement, the reality series "Rise and Fall" has become the most-watched show in the history of Amazon MX Player, the Indian streaming service. The show, produced by Banijay Asia, has set new records in viewership, social engagement, and audience participation over its six-week run.
The series, which is based on a UK format that previously struggled, has managed to captivate Indian audiences with its unique premise. "Rise and Fall" featured a diverse cast of celebrities, including John Abraham, Pankaj Tripathi, and Riteish Deshmukh, who took on the roles of either "Rulers" or "Workers." The Rulers lived in a luxurious penthouse, while the Workers were housed in the basement and tasked with challenges to add to the prize pot.
The show's success has been nothing short of phenomenal. It amassed almost 500 million views on the Amazon MX Player platform, topping the local reality streaming charts and outperforming other popular shows like "Aashram," "Bhaukaal," and "Sixer." In a first-of-its-kind partnership, "Rise and Fall" also aired on Sony Entertainment Television, attracting major brand integrations from the likes of Lux Cozi and McDowell's.
"The success and cultural impact of 'Rise and Fall' has been phenomenal," said Karan Bedi, Director & Head at Amazon MX Player. "From breaking viewership records to igniting massive social conversations and advertiser enthusiasm, the show has demonstrated how entertainment and brand storytelling can powerfully converge."
