Summary
- Allison Rawlings joining FX as new head of publicity in November 2025
- Replacing outgoing EVP John Solberg, who will step down in January 2026
- Rawlings previously worked at NBCU and DreamWorks Animation

In a significant move, FX has announced that Allison Rawlings will be joining the network as its new head of publicity in November 2025. Rawlings, a veteran communications executive, will be replacing John Solberg, the current EVP of Publicity for FX Networks, who revealed in June 2025 that he will be stepping down from his role when his contract expires in January 2026.
Rawlings comes to FX with a wealth of experience, having spent nearly a decade at NBCUniversal, where she most recently served as EVP of communications for the television and streaming division. During her time at NBCU, her team played a pivotal role in repositioning the Peacock streaming service leading up to and during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Prior to her work at NBCU, Rawlings was the head of PR at DreamWorks Animation, where she guided publicity for Academy Award-nominated films and the launch of DreamWorks Animation Television in 2013. FX Chairman John Landgraf expressed his enthusiasm for Rawlings' appointment, stating that her "experience, creativity and passion will continue and amplify FX's work -- and the integrity with which we pursue it."
Rawlings herself shared her excitement about joining the FX team, saying, "FX has long been synonymous with exceptional entertainment, and it's a privilege and a thrill to be joining this incredible team."
