Allison Janney reveals life without kids

Actress Allison Janney has shared that she always knew she did not want to have children. During a conversation on 'Reclaiming With Monica Lewinsky,' the 'West Wing' alum discussed her lifelong certainty about not wanting to start a family.

Janney reflected on her past relationships, noting that in an eight-year relationship and a subsequent ten-year relationship, neither she nor her partners desired children. Later, in her mid-thirties, she reconsidered having kids but realized her partner at the time was not the right person to start a family with. She also recounted visiting a fertility specialist who indicated she was past the ideal age for conception.

Despite not having biological children, Janney expressed profound contentment with the family she has cultivated. She declared her deep love for animals, particularly dogs, stating they are her true passion. Janney is set to reprise her role as President Grace Penn in the upcoming fourth season of 'The Diplomat'.
