Fans eager to relive the journey will have a special treat before the new season begins. The CW will broadcast "All American: The Final Season Special," an hour-long retrospective, on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 9 p.m. This special will chronicle the series' most memorable moments and honor its significant legacy.
Showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll shared her emotional perspective on the show's conclusion. She described the cast, crew, and staff as family after eight seasons together. Carroll noted that crafting the final season involved intense dedication, love, and tears, reflecting the deep bonds formed. She likened the farewell to a child leaving home, emphasizing that it's a "tear-filled 'I'll see you soon"' rather than a definitive goodbye. Carroll extended her gratitude to the dedicated fans who have supported the show for over 100 episodes, hoping they enjoy the final season as much as the creators enjoyed making it.
