Comedian Alisha Dhillon and creator Quentin Lee are joining forces again to produce "Unleeshed," a new vertical series. The show is scheduled for a worldwide release on AAM.tv in November 2026, just in time for Thanksgiving. Principal photography for the series is set to commence in August.
"Unleeshed" centers on a South Asian standup comedian and aspiring actor who pauses her career to care for her sick father. She finds that overcoming self-doubt is her greatest challenge. Lee, who previously collaborated with Dhillon on the award-winning "Comedy Invasion," expressed excitement about adapting the pilot into a vertical series.
Dhillon aims to inspire with "Unleeshed," emphasizing that confidence grows through action and that self-imposed limits are the most significant. Her standup experience includes accolades from the San Francisco Comedy Competition and Rooster T. Feathers competition, alongside performances at major festivals. Lee brings extensive experience, having created multiple TV series and directed over 10 feature films through his banner, Margin Films, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
