Alia Bhatt's Hosting Stint Goes Viral for Wrong Reasons

Alia Bhatt's recent hosting engagement at the Chetak Screen Awards, alongside Zakir Khan, became a viral topic for unintended reasons. An Instagram user's critique, highlighting perceived awkwardness and forced delivery, gained significant traction online. A particular joke made by Bhatt about her prolonged shooting for a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film did not resonate positively.

The critique also touched upon the broader issue within the Indian film industry, suggesting a confusion between on-screen fame and the distinct skills required for live hosting. This perspective was amplified when Mini Mathur, a well-known television host, publicly supported the sentiment, underscoring the craft of hosting.

Mathur's comment resonated deeply given her extensive experience in the field. The incident has ignited a discussion among audiences and industry observers regarding the requirements for successful stage presence and audience engagement during award ceremonies.
