Alexis Bledel Returns to Red Carpet for New Film

Alexis Bledel, known for her role in Gilmore Girls, made a rare public appearance on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. The 44-year-old actress walked the red carpet at Village East Cinema to promote her latest film, Ponderosa.

Bledel attended the event to celebrate the world premiere of Ponderosa, a horror-comedy directed by Rob Rice. The film stars Jack Dylan Grazer as a young man dealing with an insistent older man. This project represents Bledel's first movie role since the 2019 crime thriller Crypto. Her last significant public outing was the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards in September 2025.

At the Emmys, Bledel reunited with Gilmore Girls co-star Lauren Graham to commemorate the show's 25th anniversary. They shared humorous anecdotes about the series' early days, including budget limitations and creative catering solutions. The duo also presented an Emmy Award.
