Ludwig's wild life: From Cannes to Kaczynski

Alexander Ludwig is currently in the south of France, filming the upcoming season of "The White Lotus." The actor is also promoting his new Netflix biopic, "Unabomber," which explores the life of Ted Kaczynski. In the film, Ludwig plays Kaczynski, a domestic terrorist who sent bombs via mail between 1978 and 1995.

The movie questions whether a controversial psychiatric study Kaczynski participated in during his Harvard years contributed to his radicalization. Ludwig noted that the script offered a unique perspective on the "making of this genius monster." He described Kaczynski as an intelligent but "bamboozled" and "abused" young man.

Ludwig gained initial recognition as Cato in "The Hunger Games." He expressed excitement for the upcoming installment, "The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping." Reflecting on his early career, he recalled the awe of his first days on the "Hunger Games" set.

Production for "The White Lotus" season 4 is underway in France, with scenes spotted around Paris, Monaco, and Cannes. Ludwig described the experience of filming at the Cannes Film Festival as "wild" and "extravagant," even meeting George Clooney on set.
