She shared that "mutual love, care and deep respect" remain between them and their families, with no animosity or drama. Cordeiro also indicated she is currently focused on a serious family health matter, requesting privacy and compassion.

The couple began dating in late 2022 and made their Instagram debut that December. Rodriguez previously credited Cordeiro, a fitness instructor, for helping him and his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis, improve their health.
