Comedian Alan Carr Spoils 'Celebrity Traitors' Win Early

Comedian Alan Carr, winner of the first celebrity series of The Traitors, revealed he accidentally disclosed his victory mere hours after filming the finale. Carr confessed his win to a cameraman while working on the gameshow Secret Genius the following day.

He admitted to feeling foolish for the slip-up, especially after his agent had predicted an early exit from The Traitors. Carr managed to stay largely under the radar throughout the competition, ultimately being crowned the winner.

Carr also recounted how his participation in Celebrity Traitors has increased his public recognition. He shared a humorous story about being playfully accused of being a 'traitor' by a holidaymaker in Mexico, joking that it made him appear like a serial killer to those unaware of his role.
