Summary
- Alan Carr purchased a Scottish castle for £3.25 million.
- He plans to transform the castle into a luxury hotel and spa.
- A new Disney+ series will document the castle's renovation.

Comedian Alan Carr has acquired Ayton Castle in the Scottish Borders for £3.25 million, a move inspired by his victory on "The Traitors." The purchase of this baroque estate, featuring 16 bedrooms and 160 acres, marks a significant personal milestone for Carr, who has long dreamed of owning a stately home.
Carr revealed to The Sun that he has secured a seven-figure deal with Disney+ to film a new series documenting the renovation of his newly acquired castle. The working title for this show is "Castle Man," and it is expected to follow a similar format to his previous renovation projects. This venture comes as Carr's other projects, including "The Italian Job" with Amanda Holden, may face a hiatus due to his packed schedule.
The renovation series is reportedly being produced by Expectation, the same company behind "Clarkson's Farm." News of the "Castle Man" series emerges shortly after it was reported that Carr might be taking a break from "The Italian Job" due to scheduling conflicts. This is further compounded by his commitment to another streaming project, "The F*** List" on Amazon Prime Video, and a massive stand-up tour planned for most of 2027.
