Akshaye Khanna Out of Race 4, Producer Confirms

Producer Ramesh Taurani has put an end to speculation regarding Akshaye Khanna's potential comeback in the Race franchise. He confirmed that Khanna has not been approached for Race 4 and there are no current plans to feature him in the movie. The producer cited the antagonist's character arc concluding with an accident in the first film as the reason for not considering his return.

Taurani also clarified that no cast members have been finalized for Race 4, with the script still undergoing development. This statement addresses earlier rumors linking other actors like Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra to the project. The film's narrative is reportedly set to connect with the events of Race 1 and 2, according to writer Shiraz Ahmed.

While the script for Race 4 is actively being worked on, the casting process is yet to begin. Previous reports suggested Harshvardhan Rane was in discussions for a role, but official announcements are pending.
