Akshay Kumar: Politics Off the Dinner Table!

Akshay Kumar shared that he prefers to keep political discussions separate from his personal life, especially during dinner with his wife, Twinkle Khanna. The actor indicated that he and Khanna made a conscious decision to stop discussing politics approximately six years ago. This move, he explained, has contributed to maintaining harmony and peace within their home and personal circle.

Kumar was speaking at the India Today Conclave 2026, where he addressed his political views and potential differences with Khanna. He likened the need for both positive and negative 'current' for a light bulb to the balance required in life. Beyond this personal insight, the actor also touched upon his career, including his work with Priyadarshan on 'Bhooth Bangla'.

The upcoming film 'Bhooth Bangla', marking a reunion with director Priyadarshan after 14 years, is scheduled for release on April 10. The movie features a notable cast including Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav, with Akshay Kumar himself also serving as a producer.
