- Priyadarshan says Akshay is known to sleep early, yet he shot for 5 nights

Last month, Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan were spotted shooting an intense action sequence for their upcoming film 'Haiwaan' on the streets of Mumbai's Churchgate area. This is a rare occurrence, as filming on Mumbai's busy streets has become increasingly uncommon in recent years.
The 5-day shoot involved a grand chase sequence with 30-40 cars and 100 junior artistes. The action was choreographed by renowned stunt director Stunt Silva. Director Priyadarshan revealed that despite Akshay Kumar's reputation for early bedtimes, the actors were dedicated to completing the challenging nighttime filming. "Both Saif and Akshay knew how the sequence had to be shot and they cooperated, though Akshay is known to sleep early," Priyadarshan said.
In addition to the Churchgate location, the 'Haiwaan' crew also shot in Bandra Kurla Complex. Priyadarshan shared that he still has 9 days of work left with Saif Ali Khan. Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar, who has also completed her shoot for the film, called it "an absolute privilege to work with this stellar team led by Priyadarshan sir".
