Actor Akshay Kumar has leased out his duplex apartment located on the 11th and 12th floors of the Sky Pan building in Andheri West, Mumbai. The property, which includes an attached terrace, has been rented to Anny Divya, identified as one of India's youngest wide-body aircraft commanders. The monthly rent for this plush duplex is set at Rs 1.44 lakh.
The leave and license agreement was registered on April 7 and is effective from March 1, with a tenure of 24 months. Interestingly, the rental deal bypasses common Mumbai market practices by not including a security deposit. Furthermore, there is no clause for rent escalation over the lease period. The total stamp duty and registration charges for the agreement amounted to Rs 9,700.
