AI Creates Gujarati Film: A Paranormal Thriller

Chetan Chauhan is set to make his directorial debut with 'The Iskoon Bridge,' a groundbreaking paranormal thriller poised to be the first AI-generated Gujarati feature film. The project, expected to launch later this year, aims to explore an uncharted genre within the Gujarati film industry. Chauhan has confirmed that 82 characters within the film are AI-generated, utilizing a proprietary GoSkripto-GS2 AI model for video generation, storyboarding, and voice narration.

The creative process for 'The Iskoon Bridge' involved a synergistic approach, blending AI's efficiency with human artistic direction. While AI handled visual elements and narration, the script, dialogues, music, and editing received a human touch. Chauhan emphasized that human guidance was crucial in refining prompts and making final creative decisions, ensuring a balance between technological innovation and storytelling.

Initially, Chauhan envisioned 'The Iskoon Bridge' as a live-action film. However, a disappointing response from actors prompted him to explore AI, leading to a compelling teaser that attracted investors. Addressing industry concerns about AI's impact, Chauhan believes in adapting to technological advancements, stating that quality work will always prevail, regardless of the tools used. The film also collaborates with the National Forensic Sciences University to ensure a level of authenticity for its paranormal theme.
