- Channel aims to distribute content from emerging AI creators.

Colin Petrie-Norris, the innovator behind the free, ad-supported TV model with Xumo, is now pioneering a new venture in the AI era. His company, Fairground Entertainment, is set to launch "Fairground AI Creator TV," the first FAST channel exclusively showcasing AI-generated shows and films. This new channel is slated to debut next month across five major TV and FAST platforms, featuring a 24-hour schedule curated by Petrie-Norris and his team.
The channel will highlight content from several AI creators discovered on social media, including Kelly Boesch, Kavan the Kid's Phantom X Studio, Ryan Phillips, Wonder Studios, and Massive Studios. Petrie-Norris believes these creators are poised to become the next generation of entertainment stars. The programming will mimic traditional television with primetime blocks and special event features, distinguishing its curated, story-focused AI content from short clips found on social media.
Fairground Entertainment, based in Laguna Beach, California, was founded last year with $4 million in seed funding and initially planned original shows inspired by classic tales. The startup has since grown to 13 employees, and the launch of Fairground AI Creator TV signifies a significant expansion and a new distribution model for AI-generated material, blending cutting-edge technology with familiar viewing habits.
