AHS Season 13: Fan Favorites Return for Epic Finale

American Horror Story is preparing for its 13th season, a "greatest hits" installment described as a tribute to all previous seasons. Fan-favorite actors Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters are confirmed to reprise multiple iconic roles they previously embodied.

Ryan Murphy, co-creator of the FX anthology series, described the season as "getting the band back together," noting how actors instantly fell back into character. While a specific synopsis is unavailable, the logline teases the return of "iconic horrors" to "haunt the hallowed halls of 13." Murphy has confirmed that the characters will unite "to defeat the ultimate evil."

The cast includes a star-studded lineup of returning actors such as Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, and Emma Roberts, alongside newcomers. Jessica Lange, who had previously expressed reservations about returning, was a crucial factor in proceeding with season 13. The first official trailer dropped on September 10, featuring glimpses of characters like Elsa Mars, James Patrick March, and Cordelia Goode.

Season 13 is scheduled to premiere on September 24, with the first three episodes released on that date. Three additional episodes will follow the next week, and then two episodes will be released weekly until the season finale on October 29.
