In October 2025, the trailer for the highly anticipated film 'Ikkis -- The Untold True Story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal' was unveiled by Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films. The film, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, stars Agastya Nanda in the lead role as Arun Khetarpal, a 1971 war hero.
The trailer begins by showcasing Agastya's Khetarpal undergoing rigorous military training. It then offers a glimpse of his love story amidst the tensions of the Indo-Pak war. The promo also features veteran actor Dharmendra as Khetarpal's grandfather, who narrates the young soldier's war stories from his childhood.
Jaideep Ahlawat is shown portraying a Pakistani army officer who acknowledges Khetarpal's legacy, stating that his heroism is revered not just in India but also across the border. The film pays tribute to Khetarpal, who was the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest military honor, at the age of 21. He made the ultimate sacrifice during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war.
'Ikkis' is scheduled for a theatrical release in December 2025, marking Agastya Nanda's first major on-screen role. The film also features Sikandar Kher, Shree Bishnoi, Ekavali Khanna, and Mohan Godara in pivotal characters.
