A new prequel series, Adventure Time: Side Quests, is set to premiere on June 29, offering a return to the franchise's earlier, simpler days. The show will focus on untold standalone adventures from Finn and Jake's younger years, specifically during Seasons 1 and 2 of the original series. This means viewers will see Finn at age 12 and Jake at age 28 in magical dog years.
Adventure Time: Side Quests serves as a supplementary companion piece, expanding upon Finn's formative adventures in the Land of Ooo. These stories take place before many of the significant events that later unfolded in the original series, capturing a time when Finn simply wanted to be a hero and hung out with Jake. The series is available on Disney+ and Hulu.
