Bedsheets & Speakers: Adnan Sami on Amitabh's unique vocal recording

Singer-composer Adnan Sami recounted a unique studio experience involving megastar Amitabh Bachchan during the recording of the song 'Kabhi Naee'. Bachchan, who had previously sung in films, initially expressed reservations about Adnan's song, finding it difficult. He eventually agreed to record but insisted on singing live with the speakers turned on.

To facilitate Bachchan's unconventional recording method, Sami and his team used bedsheets to create a sound-blocking barrier. Bachchan recorded his vocals without headphones, directly with the speakers on, a technique Adnan Sami stated had never been employed before. The singer-composer praised Bachchan's performance, noting his enjoyment and expressions during the session.
