Adkitta: Parenthood's Emotional Rollercoaster

A new Marathi family drama, titled Adkitta, is set to premiere on Zee 5 on September 11, 2026. Directed by Ashutosh Parandkar and produced by Zee Studios, the film features a compelling cast including Sai Tamhankar, Siddharth Chandekar, and Sakhi Gokhale.

Adkitta centers on Vihang and Kasturi, an independent couple whose lives change drastically after the birth of their premature son, Omkar. They struggle to balance demanding professional careers with the overwhelming responsibilities of new parenthood.

To manage their situation, the couple hires a caregiver, Mangal. This decision, however, introduces unforeseen emotional complexities and shifts household dynamics, leading them to question their assumptions about family, trust, and belonging.
