Summary
- The film 'Dacoit' release date shifted to April 10 to avoid clashes.
- Adivi Sesh cited competition from 'Dhurandhar' as the reason for the delay.
- 'Dacoit' stars Mrunal Thakur and Anurag Kashyap, directed by Shaneil Deo.

The release of Adivi Sesh's upcoming love-revenge action drama, 'Dacoit,' has been officially postponed from March 19 to April 10. This decision was made to preempt a conflict with the highly anticipated release of 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge.'
Actor Adivi Sesh revealed that the original plan to launch 'Dacoit' during the Ugadi festival, a significant occasion for Telugu cinema, was revised due to the anticipated success of 'Dhurandhar.' He highlighted the need to secure optimal theater distribution and screen timings.
Sesh drew a parallel between 'Dhurandhar's' potential cultural impact and the phenomenon of the Indian Premier League (IPL), suggesting that such major releases can significantly influence audience choices. He assured that there remains ample space for diverse cinematic offerings.
Directed by debutant Shaneil Deo, 'Dacoit' also features Mrunal Thakur and Anurag Kashyap. The film, shot in Telugu and Hindi, is set to have a worldwide release on April 10. The plot reportedly centers on Adivi Sesh's character seeking revenge against his ex-girlfriend, portrayed by Thakur.
