BMC Recommends Permanent Blacklisting for B62 Studios Shoot
17 Feb
Summary
- BMC seeks permanent blacklisting of B62 Studios for alleged shoot violations.
- Production banner reportedly used flammable torches despite assurances.
- BMC also proposed Rs 1 lakh fine and forfeited security deposit.

Filmmaker Aditya Dhar's production banner, B62 Studios, faces a potential permanent blacklisting from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). This severe recommendation stems from alleged violations during the filming of 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' conducted in South Mumbai earlier in February 2026.
Authorities claim the production team breached conditions by using flammable materials, specifically lighting torches, during a night shoot between February 7 and 8. Despite assurances and a subsequent cancellation of another filming request, a similar incident occurred on February 14, leading to the seizure of five torches.
In addition to recommending the permanent blacklisting of B62 Studios and individuals Komal Pokhriyal and Nashir Khan, the BMC has proposed a Rs 1 lakh fine. This penalty is for alleged unauthorized shooting on a building terrace and the deployment of two generator vans. The Rs 25,000 security deposit has already been forfeited.
