Adipurush Flaws Reignited: Memes Mock Hanuman's Flight

Old memes comparing 'Adipurush' to the newly released 'Ramayana' trailer have resurfaced. This resurgence is amplified by screenwriter Manoj Muntashir's recent acknowledgment that 'Adipurush' was the biggest mistake of his career. The song 'Ram Siya Ram' from the film has also begun trending again as the movie returns to public discussion.

Online discussions highlight various criticisms leveled against 'Adipurush.' Users are sharing clips of scenes, such as Lord Hanuman flying over ships, to mock the film's perceived lack of seriousness. Comparisons have also been drawn to other franchises like 'Avengers' and 'Harry Potter,' with some users expressing disappointment in the visual execution.

Further debate surrounds the costume choices for actors, particularly Kriti Sanon's portrayal of Sita. Some social media users pointed out perceived double standards in the public's reaction to her attire compared to criticisms faced by actors in other adaptations. This has led to broader discussions about online criticism.

Meanwhile, the upcoming film 'Ramayana,' directed by Nitesh Tiwari and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, is preparing for its release. Ahead of its launch, the Shri Ramlila Mahasangh has requested a special screening from Tiwari, expressing concerns about potential factual distortions in the new adaptation.
