"He tried his best to be as vulnerable and as transparent as possible," the actor noted, citing Irrfan's standout performances in films like The Warrior, The Namesake, and Qissa as examples of his best work.
Despite having met Irrfan only a handful of times during the promotions of Life of Pi, Hussain recalled feeling a deep personal impact upon learning of his passing. "I was surprised about the way I felt," he shared, underscoring the lasting impression Irrfan left on audiences through his commitment to authenticity.
