Thomas, 37, disclosed in a candid Instagram post that he endured significant physical, mental, and emotional struggles during filming. He admitted there were moments he did not recognize himself.

Living with autoimmune psoriatic arthritis, diagnosed in 2023, Thomas found the jungle environment particularly taxing. He revealed the difficulty in hiding his pain, stating his arthritis 'really took its toll' and that his biggest fight was maintaining a brave face.

He expressed regret for not speaking up for himself sooner but has learned valuable lessons about kindness and strength. Thomas is proud of not quitting the show, even when wanting to walk away.

Following the show, Thomas has processed his experiences and is in a better place. He has spoken with David Haye, who has apologized for his conduct. Thomas stated he has moved on and does not hold grudges.
