The actress then faced a grueling 9-year legal battle to fight for her child's custody. Sadanand shared that her ex-husband was wealthy, so she had to travel back and forth from Mumbai to Delhi courts, balancing her acting work and the custody case. The prolonged ordeal took a toll on her son, who eventually asked his parents to stop the fight, as it was severely affecting his studies.
