- Ferguson says she was willing to "shove someone under a bus" to make a point

In a recent interview, actress Rebecca Ferguson has revealed more details about a past on-set conflict with a male co-star whom she previously described as an "absolute idiot." Ferguson admits that she was not proud of her own behavior during the confrontation, stating, "I will shove someone under a bus in front of an entire crew to make a point."
The incident occurred a few years ago, as Ferguson had shared on a podcast in 2024. At the time, she described how the co-star would openly criticize her acting in front of the entire crew, saying things like "You call yourself an actor? This is what I have to work with?" This led to Ferguson crying as she walked off set. However, the next day, she decided to stand up for herself, telling the co-star, "You can eff off. I'm going to work toward a tennis ball. I never want to see you again."
Reflecting on the altercation, Ferguson acknowledges that "bullies" often struggle with their own insecurities. She notes that it can be "really tricky" when you start standing up for yourself, as the co-star could have had her fired and replaced. Despite the confrontation, the co-star in question has not reached out to Ferguson, and she says she doesn't care if they know she was talking about them.
