Actor Slams AI-Generated Fake Photos, Files Complaint

Actor Rukmini Vasanth has taken decisive legal action after AI-generated images, falsely attributed to her and showing her in a bikini, gained viral traction online.

Vasanth submitted a formal complaint to the Cyber Crime department, asserting that the circulating visuals were fabricated and urging for stringent measures against technological misuse. She noted that the issue extends beyond actresses, affecting many girls and women nationwide.

The fabricated images, which appeared to show a woman by a swimming pool, quickly spread across social media, leading to widespread belief in their authenticity. Vasanth's team has officially stated that the content has no connection to her and warned of legal recourse.

She emphasized that while AI possesses many positive applications, its misuse in creating and spreading manipulated content is a serious violation of privacy and deeply irresponsible. Vasanth requested that everyone refrain from sharing or interacting with such harmful material.
