Summary
- Actor Miguel A. Nunez Jr. plans to revive "Juwanna Mann" comedy with a sequel
- Aims to cast WNBA stars Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese in the film
- Original cast members and NBA player Seth Curry may also return

In November 2025, actor Miguel A. Nunez Jr. revealed that he is working on a sequel to the 2002 comedy film "Juwanna Mann." The original movie, which starred Nunez, Vivica A. Fox, Kevin Pollak, and Kim Wayans, centered around a male basketball player who disguises himself as a woman to play in a women's league after being suspended.
Nunez believes the current surge in popularity of women's basketball makes this the ideal time to revisit the story. He has expressed interest in casting two of the WNBA's biggest stars, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, in the sequel. Nunez has even joked about potential on-screen drama, saying he would "beat Caitlin's ass and marry Angel Reese."
