In October 2025, the team of the upcoming drama 'Dear X' held an official press conference to discuss their work on the show. During the event, actor Kim Do Hoon, who will be starring in the series, opened up about a major mishap that occurred on the set last March.
Kim revealed that while filming a specific scene involving a motorcycle, he had gotten into a severe accident. The doctors also prescribed Kim a 24-week-long recovery period, leading to a minor halt in the production of 'Dear X.'
Despite the unexpected injury, Kim shared that he is now receiving proper treatment and recovering well. "It was an unexpected accident that happened during practice," the actor explained. "I actually know how to ride a motorcycle and was being careful, but it was something I couldn't have imagined."
The press conference was also attended by Kim's fellow co-stars, including Kim Yoo Jung, Kim Young Dae, and Lee Yeol Eum, as well as the show's director, Lee Eung Bok. They discussed their experiences working on the highly anticipated drama and their expectations for its release.
