Actor Injured Filming Gruesome Movie Scene

Danish Pandor, who portrays Uzair Baloch in the hit film 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge,' shared his experience filming a particularly violent scene. The sequence recreates the real-life gruesome killing of gangster Arshad Pappu, a portrayal that deeply affected Pandor upon initial reading.

Pandor described immersing himself in the character's mindset and relying on instinct during the shoot. He collaborated closely with director Aditya Dhar, focusing on delivering a powerful performance. The scene involved improvisation and extensive effort from the entire crew.

During the filming, Pandor suffered a thumb injury that required significant recovery time, estimated at two to two-and-a-half months. He admitted the injury occurred due to losing some control in the heat of the moment. The film's production team provided support during his recovery.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' has achieved remarkable commercial success. Released on March 19, the film has garnered over Rs 500 crore net domestically and is approaching Rs 830 crore worldwide, with a star-studded cast including Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan.
