- Allegations involve over Rs 1.80 crore in unpaid equipment rental dues.
- Police are investigating the financial dispute related to the film 'Ananthan Kaadu'.

A cheating case has been registered against Tamil actor Arya at the Jubilee Hills Police Station in Hyderabad. The complaint was filed by a camera equipment rental company. The company alleges that it has not received full payment for high-end equipment rented for the film 'Ananthan Kaadu'.
Total dues amount to over Rs 1.80 crore out of Rs 2.12 crore. The rental company claims the makers assured timely payments and transported equipment at their own cost to Kerala. Despite written acknowledgments and multiple reminders, the payment was allegedly never made.
Further accusations suggest Arya, producer Vinod, and others threatened the company's manager when he sought the pending payment. Police have commenced an investigation into these allegations.
