Action director Chethan D'Souza, known for his work on 'Jailer 2', is currently designing unique action for two major upcoming films: 'Dragon' starring Jr NTR and 'Fauzi' featuring Prabhas. D'Souza is focusing on creating distinct action styles for each actor, emphasizing that effective action requires more than just scale.
For 'Dragon', D'Souza is developing a realistic action approach for Jr NTR, diverging from the larger-than-life sequences in Prashanth Neel's previous works. This new style will be tailored to Jr NTR's character as an assassin and his toned physique, ensuring the action feels convincing and relatable while retaining mass appeal.
In contrast, Prabhas's character in 'Fauzi' will be presented with grounded yet highly stylized action. D'Souza, who brings 22 years of martial arts experience to his choreography, aims to imbue these sequences with strong emotional connections, suspense, and surprise, focusing on physical combat with a stylized presentation.
Beyond these projects, Chethan D'Souza has also choreographed action for Suriya's upcoming film 'Scene'.
