Austin City Limits (ACL) is kicking off its 25th anniversary with a significant expansion of its broadcast, making the entire festival available globally via livestream. For the first time, audiences worldwide can tune into performances on Disney+ and Hulu, a major shift from its previous U.S.-only Hulu stream.
This year's festival is set to feature a lineup including artists like Charli XCX, Lorde, Twenty One Pilots, and the xx. While weekend one includes artists such as Brandon Flowers and Skrillex, weekend two will see lineup adjustments with Kings of Leon replacing Skrillex.
Organizers are actively preparing for potential wet weather conditions. Proactive measures are underway in Zilker Park, including clearing drains and accelerating setup schedules to ensure the festival proceeds smoothly despite any storm.
Viewers can access the livestream through two dedicated channels on Disney+ and Hulu, offering a selection of performances from the festival's eight stages. The streaming services are available through various subscription tiers, with pricing starting at $12.49 for Disney+ and $12.99 for Hulu's ad-supported bundle.
