- New state-of-the-art post-production facility in Egypt
- Offers high-end services like 4K editing, HDR color grading, and Dolby Atmos sound mixing
- Aims to be a collaborative hub for up-and-coming talents in editing, color, and sound design

In October 2025, a new state-of-the-art post-production facility called Story Studio has launched in Egypt, founded by acclaimed editor Hafez. The facility is billed as a destination for high-end post-production services, including 4K editing across multiple team-equipped suites, HDR color grading, and theatrical-ready sound mixing with Dolby Atmos, which is a rarity in the country.
Core to the company's creation is a mission to become a collaborative hub for up-and-coming talents, where emerging editors, colorists, and sound designers can work alongside established professionals, accessing technology and mentorship previously out of reach. Hafez has also conceived the hub as a launchpad for emerging storytellers, giving them access to the necessary tools and support to refine their voice and craft world-class content.
The facility is already up and running, having kicked off its activities by doing post-production on Egypt's 2026 Oscars entry and the Tribeca breakout film Happy Birthday. Upcoming projects due to pass through the new facility include the award-winning film My Father's Scent, the biopic El Sett, and the historical epic Assad, all of which have been edited by Hafez himself.
