In the weeks leading up to November 5, 2025, acclaimed Marathi actor Siddharth Menon has been working to bring the centuries-old Dashavatar folk art tradition to the city of Pune. Dashavatar is an almost 800-year-old live theatrical enactment of the 10 avatars of Lord Vishnu, which is immensely popular in the coastal Konkan region. However, this unique performance has never been showcased in Pune before.

Menon, fresh from acclaim for his role in the Marathi film Dashavatar, is now focused on giving back to the traditional artists. He has organized three shows of Dada Rane Konaskar's Dashavatar troupe in Pune between November 7-9, 2025.
