In a significant move, acclaimed actor, writer, director, and New York Times bestselling author David Duchovny has signed with Anonymous Content for management. Duchovny, a two-time Golden Globe winner and four-time Emmy nominee, is best known for his iconic roles as FBI Agent Fox Mulder in 'The X-Files' and Hank Moody in 'Californication'.
Duchovny's creative pursuits extend far beyond acting. As an author, he has published a debut poetry collection and several novels, including the New York Times bestseller 'Holy Cow'. He has also written and directed a feature adaptation of his novel 'Bucky F*cking Dent', which was released nationally by Vertical.
More recently, Duchovny launched the podcast 'Fail Better' in May 2024, produced by Lemonada Media. The podcast explores failure in all its forms, from the professional to the personal, and has featured guests such as Ben Stiller, Bette Midler, and Freakonomics author Stephen J. Dubner. Given the show's continued success, Lemonada is now launching an imprint with Simon & Schuster, with 'Fail Better' set to be the subject of one of their first two books published under the new partnership.
As for his upcoming projects, Duchovny will be seen starring alongside Jack Whitehall and Carice van Houten in the psychological thriller series 'Malice', which premieres on Prime Video on November 14, 2025.
