The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has tapped veteran producer Jennifer Fox to oversee the 16th Governors Awards ceremony, set to take place on November 16. This will be Fox's seventh time producing the prestigious event, which honors exceptional contributions to the film industry.
This year's Honorary Oscars will be presented to acclaimed actress and choreographer Debbie Allen, global superstar Tom Cruise, and renowned production designer Wynn Thomas. Additionally, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award will be bestowed upon country music legend Dolly Parton in recognition of her philanthropic efforts. The ceremony will be held at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Ovation Hollywood.
"Jennifer's expertise in producing the Governors Awards is unmatched. We are thrilled to welcome her back to kick off our 98th Oscars events with a celebration of four truly remarkable honorees," said Academy President Howell Taylor in a statement.
