- Entangled follows a married couple as deep-cover CIA officers stationed overseas

In an exciting reunion, Stana Katic, the lead of the Prime Video/AXN thriller drama Absentia, is set to star in a new project called Entangled. The drama series is being developed by Jeff Frost, the former president of Absentia's studio Sony Pictures Television Studios, through his Bristol Circle Entertainment production company.
Entangled is inspired by the real-life story of CIA intelligence officers Meredith and Freddie Woodruff, one of the Agency's first undercover husband-and-wife teams. The series will follow a married couple, Abby and Jim Sullivan, who are deep-cover CIA officers stationed in one of the world's most dangerous countries. They must balance their responsibilities as spies and as parents while conducting covert operations across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
The series is being created by Will Pascoe, who served as executive producer and showrunner on Season 3 of Absentia. Pascoe will write and serve as the showrunner for Entangled, which is also being executive produced by Katic and Meredith Woodruff, who will also consult on the project. Freddie Woodruff, Meredith's husband, was killed in the line of duty in post-Soviet Georgia in 1993.
