As the entertainment world eagerly awaits the announcement of the next James Bond, actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson has emerged as a frontrunner for the iconic role. However, the actor's chances may now be clouded by resurfaced allegations of past misconduct.
In 2012, Taylor-Johnson starred in the film Savages alongside actress Sandra Echeverría. Echeverría has now publicly recounted an incident during filming in which she claims she was performing a scene tied up in a vehicle when Taylor-Johnson and co-star Taylor Kitsch allegedly revved the truck forcefully, causing her to be thrown around and injured as she was unable to brace herself.
Echeverría stated, "We came in a truck (I was supposed to be kidnapped with my hands and feet tied in the trunk). Well, they seemed to find it very funny between takes to start the truck really hard... For me to fly around and hit with the movement of the van." She further revealed that Taylor-Johnson later approached her to apologize, but that co-star Kitsch "couldn't care less."
Despite this resurfaced controversy, speculation continues to mount over who will don the iconic tuxedo next. Interestingly, rumors about the Bond casting gained further traction after filmmaker James Gunn reportedly began following Aaron Taylor-Johnson on social media, fueling further online debate.
