Their romance began 18 years ago when they met on the set of 'Nowhere Boy.' Aaron, then 18, starred as John Lennon in the biographical film directed by Sam, who is 59. They later collaborated again on the 2019 film adaptation of 'A Million Little Pieces.'

The Taylor-Johnsons married in 2012 and have two daughters together. Sam also has two older daughters from a previous marriage. The couple maintains a strong sense of privacy regarding their family life.
