Aamir Khan's Alcohol Battle After Divorce Revealed

In a recent interview, Bollywood star Aamir Khan disclosed a challenging phase in his life. Following his divorce from his first wife, Reena Dutta, he found himself consuming alcohol excessively.

Khan explained that he was a teetotaler until his separation from Dutta. The emotional turmoil after she left with their children led him to start drinking. For approximately eighteen months, he reportedly drank a full bottle of alcohol each night, a stark contrast to his prior abstinence.

This admission follows previous discussions about his divorce's emotional toll. He had previously stated on another show that while the split after 16 years of marriage was traumatic for both families, he and Reena maintained mutual respect. In a more recent personal update, Khan introduced his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, to the media in Mumbai on his 60th birthday last March.
