The time travel comedy 'Aadu 3' continues its strong box office performance, having surpassed Rs 116 crores worldwide. As of its later weeks, the film has accumulated Rs 47.79 crores net domestically in India, with its gross collection reaching Rs 55.26 crores. International markets have proven to be a major success driver, contributing Rs 60.75 crores to the global total.
The film's plot, featuring Jayasurya as Shaji Pappan, involves a mystical Star Dust stone that influences reincarnation and merges present-day chaos with a 1750s storyline. Pappan himself appears as Padmanabha Thamburan, a historical king, in the past timeline.
Despite facing competition from the newly released 'Vaazha 2: Biopic Of A Billion Bros,' which also opened strongly, 'Aadu 3' maintains a decent audience turnout. Both films are reportedly receiving positive reviews from audiences, indicating a healthy cinematic landscape.
