'90s Rock Band O.A.R. Celebrates 30 Years with Epic Three Decades Tour

In 2025, the '90s rock band O.A.R. is gearing up to celebrate its 30th anniversary with the highly anticipated Three Decades Tour. The band, formed by a group of friends in their 8th grade talent show, has come a long way since their early days of covering Pearl Jam's "Porch."

Over the past three decades, O.A.R. has evolved from a group of young musicians to a multiplatinum rock band with a devoted fan base. As they approach this milestone, the band has released a brand-new single, "Where We Are Now," which captures the nostalgia and reflection they are experiencing.

Lead singer Marc Roberge explains that the song is a "discussion about, 'I started out with a house, I ended up with a town.' You're really saying, 'Look, I thought I was going alone in this life.' You realize you're never alone. And all these people that raise you up and they bring you to where you need to be, that's your town."

As the band prepares for the Three Decades Tour, which kicks off on June 19, 2026, in Vail, Colorado, they are focused on being "healthier" to put on the best shows possible for their fans. Drummer Chris Culos explains, "We hold ourselves to a really high standard. And the other huge thing is that we all have families and kids at home. The way we tour really matters."

In addition to the tour, the band promises to treat fans to all the songs they know and love, as well as new material they have been working on in the studio. Saxophonist Jerry DePizzo says, "We'll be out there playing all of the songs that O.A.R. fans know and love throughout the decades. And then we've also been working really hard in the studio for new material as well."
