90 Day Fiancé Star's Wife Battles ALS, Seeks Public Help

Sumit Singh, a star from the reality show '90 Day Fiancé,' is publicly requesting financial assistance for his wife, Jenny Slatten, who is battling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Sumit shared via Instagram that Jenny wishes to provide health updates and express gratitude for support, noting that contributions can be made through Cameo or direct donations.

Singh explained the need for financial aid, stating he aims to make Jenny's life as comfortable as possible. He highlighted the challenges Jenny faces with travel due to her condition and his own visa complexities, which limit his ability to travel freely. Jenny, who has three daughters from a previous marriage, confirmed she does not have health insurance in India, adding to their concerns.

The couple expressed reluctance to travel from India to the United States unless a more viable solution can be secured, citing the substantial travel expenses. Sumit emphasized his commitment to being available for Jenny's needs, stating, "Whatever she needs, I want to do it." He also mentioned that Jenny's children are focused on their own lives, and Jenny does not wish to be a burden.

Last month, Jenny disclosed her ALS diagnosis, requesting help with treatments, clinical trials, or lifestyle changes to manage the disease. ALS, a progressive nervous system disorder affecting nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, leads to muscle weakness. While there is no cure, research for new therapies is ongoing. Sumit stressed that while money won't heal, it will provide support and ease their struggles, noting this is the first time they have publicly asked for financial help.
